Gwinnett Council for the Arts is a non-profit organization which owns and operates the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts through the generosity of many private patrons, corporations and foundations.
As part of our mission, the Gwinnett Council for the Arts also serves as the official arts agency of the County, assisting other arts groups in developing to their full potential and promoting the work of area artists. These goals are accomplished through a variety of activities such as the following:
The Arts Council operates the Norcross Studio/Gallery which provides studio and exhibit space for working artists.
The award winning Glass Pyramid Art Shop located in the Fine Arts Center provides a space for over 250 artists and craftsmen to show and sell their work,
Since 1994, the Council has served as the administrative entity for the Georgia Grassroots Art Program (GAP), awarding grants to other nonprofit arts organizations.
